Luminous Origamis!

Today, Akira Yoshizawa would have been 101. And Joâo Jacinto Borges Pimentel would have been 78. The former got a nod on Google via one of their increasingly famous Google Doodles. The latter got a nod on... the luminous blog, courtesy of a Google service (your host, Blogger!) and moi (your other host!)  So all is fine and dandy, in this chaotic world: somehow, order is present, too. Such is the conclusion one has to come to when faced with such evidence as this: for, against all odds, despite everything going against it and possibly making such a thing impossible, the genuinely good guys, far from being the ''greats of this world'' are still remembered... somewhere, somehow, by someone...

R.I.P Akira

R.I.P. Joâo
